Welcome to our online store! We are so happy you're here and we look forward to being of service to you. 

Askin Designs is run by mother-and-daughter duo, Nikki and Kaylin Askin. We work from home in Cape Town, crafting personalised and customisable A5 journals by hand. All our journals are printed on demand, made with hard covers and bound with silver spiral-wire. We offer various Christian journals, planners and notebooks that are faith-based and spirit-led, designed to enrich your spiritual walk with Christ. 

We cater to individuals. We don't do bulk orders at this time and we are not suppliers. Our journals are not available to resell. 

How to order:

Our journals fall under two categories on our online store: Personalised and Customisable. 

You can personalise any of our journals and you can add your favourite Bible verse, quote or a special message (if it is a gift) to your journals. Then simply add to cart or purchase and make your payment.

You can also customise any of our journals and truly make it your own. Simply select any of our blank templates and tell us how to make it your perfect journal by following the customisation prompts. Customisations entail and are restricted to: colour scheme, cover design and texts. For extra customisations, email us first at designsaskin@gmail.com and we will see if we can fulfil your request. You will be able to tell us what colours you want it in and what designs/patterns you might want the cover to have, as well as add a text. 

For example: 

I want my journal to be a pastel yellow with white daisies on the cover. 

Make sure to be as specific as possible so that we can design the perfect journal for you!! Then simply add to cart and make your payment. All in under 5 minutes! It's a simple and fast process. 

Within 48 hours, we will email you with a draft of your custom journal. You will get the chance to approve of it or make any changes before we start printing. That way, we know you are satisfied!

Turnaround time:

It takes 5-7 days from date of purchase to make one journal. It may take an extra few days to make a custom journal. Delivery within Cape Town takes 1-2 days. Delivery across South Africa takes 3-4 days. We suggest ordering two weeks in advance. 

Shipping and Collection:

Shipping costs start from R100 and depend on the weight of your order. We only deliver nationwide across South Africa through The Courier Guy. 

Point of collection is Bardale Village, Silversands. Journals are usually ready to collect 5-7 days from date of purchase.
